	Welcome to to League of Rapier Academies Home Page ! Our goal is to promote the study, service and skill in period fencing by recreating a contemporary academy of defense, and by the recognition of the individual contributions of its members in all aspects of period fencing. We do this through ranking in the style of the London Masters of Defense (the word period refers to the era ending in 1600, adhering to SCA mandate). The League of Rapier Academies shall also act as a registry for local independent Rapier Guilds, Schools and/or Companies.
